| EXPLAIN THE NAME |
While trying to come up with the dumbest name ever for a band, many suggestions were considered. I wanted 'Supertramp' but was informed that it had already been taken. Moe liked to sport a giant button of Black Nationalist Radical Marcus Garvey, one of our few heroes. Naturally after countless 40 oz. bottles of Blatz Beer and endless hours of Euchre and Motörhead blasting someone quipped, 'Mucous Gravy'. We tried to change the name but it was out of our control...this was what we HAD to do. |
| GEAR |
We borrowed nearly everything from Ohio Punk legend Marcy Mays (One Man's Head and most notably Scrawl) because we were too useless to have paying jobs other than selling plasma twice a week and that dough was meant for beer and late-night women. Bruce had his own drums but used what was already available in place for gigs from other bands.
All recording was done on a cheap ass tape recorder boombox for maximum feedback shittiness (actually that was inadvertent but it adds to the whole thing nicely). All songs are one-take for the most part and always under the influence of something or another. |
